Our Minister

The minister of Yate Methodist Church is Rev Paul Edwards.

Paul was born in Liverpool and then moved to Poole in Dorset when he was about 5.

He met his wife Linda, who also came from Merseyside, and then spent 2 ½ years in New Zealand.

They moved to Stroud with their first child Benjamin and after a few months their second son Christopher was born.

Before moving into Ministry Paul was an Electrical Engineer, running his own company and working as a Project Manager for several blue chip companies.

For relaxation he likes walking the dog while listing to Nu-Jazz music on his MP3 player. He also likes reading and trying to play the guitar.

Paul is very pleased to be back in this area as his eldest son lives in Stroud along with his wife and young daughter.
